Cangrejal White Water Rafting

Enjoy an exciting trip along the exhilarating Class III & IV rapids of the Cangrejal River. Departing from La Ceiba we head upriver 20 minutes to our rafting put-in along the eastern boundary of the spectacular Pico Bonito National Park. The tower peaks and lush rainforest of Pico Bonito will be our background during the two and one-half hours of this unforgettable journey. Rafting tour includes instruction on procedures, security equipment, bilingual professional guides and all equipment (rafts, paddles, life jackets and helmets). We finish the trip with a river-side picnic lunch.
Safety is a priority and all guides have extensive training.
Minimum Participants: 2 persons
Checklist:
- Tennis shoes or trekking sandals
- Rain jacket (paddle jacket)
- In the rainy season or cold climate (Oct. – March) a diving suit or fleece
- Shorts, bathing suit and extra dry clothes
- Towels
- Sun glasses
- Repellent and sunscreen
- Hat
- Personal items
